I set up manually the Ip address of RNDIS. I put an Ip address 192.168.2.8. Then I tried to change the subnet mask but it doesn't allow me. So I left it as it is. The vine server sees now my mac and my kindle (192.168.2.8) The nice thing now is that internet is on with this IP on my kindle

Then I tried to change the subnet mask in my router but it doesn't allow me too. (I typed 2555.255.255.1 instead of .0)

is this what you asked me to do? You said something about reconfigure my USB networking on my kindle. Is this what you mean? Or is it something else?

Can you explain to me what I am trying to do with the terminal? By writing telnet 192.168.2.1 I am trying to connect to my routers IP or to my kindles IP. I did write telnet 192.168.2.8 or telnet 192.168.2.2 but it didn't work also...
