Maybe your right, this can become obsessive very easily Harry lol I guess as my daughter is buying it for my birthday, I felt I owed it to her to get a good one, feel bad if I know it's not perfect.

I will see what the new one is like then keep one of them, most likely the 603 as even though it has more pinholes I do prefer the whiteness and crispness of the font and that is what I see when I read. At brightness 16 it looks pretty even, I am aware of the pink patch but only in the afternoon light for some reason, at night I read at around 11 or 12 and that helps even more. The first photo is at the brightness i will read during the day and it looks okay in that one. So if the third one is not a charm then I'll settle for the 603 and send the others back and get on and enjoy the books I've got waiting lol
