it's not the best, it just fulfills all I (and others in this forum) need.
It provides the same image optimizations Mangle provided, enhanced with HD support (for Paperwhite), splitting double pages or landscape support (latest AcidWeb's work), PanelView support, optional black background, all bundled in a pratical Mobi which I discovered is better supported on Kindle.
Also you get the ePub, which should be just fine for any other ereader (still no feedback on this, though).
In the end, is still in active development and is a github hosted opensource projects, so you get issue reporting and collaborative solving
So, just give it a try and check if it's good for you - and if not, tell us what you miss, we'll do our best to bring the software to a state-of-the-art version
