OTOH, it wouldn't hurt if Kobo gave us a choice of tweaking at least the midpoint of the curve when it converts covers to grayscale. Even just the ability to go in and tweak a cover after the fact would be great.
Wouldn't mind a similar ability to tweak the display or just plain remap when trying to use the browser too.
