Sony Reader conquers Europe - Germany is next

It's not a secret that Sony Germany has been eyeing the Sony Reader for their local market, but now we got some hard facts, thanks to the Spiegel magazine who talked to Sony at the Ifa exhibit in Berlin:

So still in this year we should be expecting to see the Sony Reader in German stores. Furthermore:

In den USA verkauft Sony solche E-Books über seinen Online-Shop connect. Wann es ein vergleichbares Angebot auch in Deutschland geben wird, mochten Sonys Manager in Berlin noch nicht verraten. Allerdings, zumindest so viel ließen sie durchblicken, wolle man dies auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse, die Mitte Oktober, bekannt geben.
Sony is planning something similar to Sony Connect for Germany, and they are promising to tell us more about their plans at the Frankfurt Bookfair in October.
