New to the e-reader world. I am looking to find a couple of ways to make some modifications to my Kindle. I have the version without keyboard but not touch screen. I received this last Christmas. not sure of the Generation number.
I use Calibre for Mac to manage my ebooks and transfer them to the kindle as required.

Can anyone provide links or guides or info on how to do the following

1. It is the full Kindle without Ads (if that matters). I only read 1 book at a time. I was wanting set the wallpaper when locked to the book cover, not the random image that currently appears.

2. Is there a way to show the page number instead of percentage read (example Page 40 /100). Or pages left in current chapter.
