I'm also just guessing, but:
- is the device generating USB events when connected to a PC?
- yes: the motherboard should be working. It *could* be screen damage or software damage (!)
- no: the motherboard might (!) be damaged. It could *also* be a battery or software issue.
Overall it's hard to tell. You are not giving enough information. Or I don't understand it.
