I would be happy with this.

If I've nominated/voted for something that wins, I'll definitely want to participate in the discussion and the more advance notice, the more likely I'm going to be able to juggle my reading so that I'm ready for the discussion by the allotted date.

It may also help get some of those bigger books through the process. Sometimes there's a vote against books due to length (I've been guilty of this on occasion).
