Too right. I'd also be spending more eyeball time on the room than my book. The reading room of my dreams is pretty simple:
1) Recliner or other comfy chair.
2) A light source
3) Kids quiet or in another room
4) Fabreze dispenser for when the dog passes gas (He's quiet*, and keeps my feet warm sans slippers, so other than his emissions he's welcome)
*He has calmed down as he's aged. When he was younger, he used to jump up and tear around the room whenever he farted. Then he'd stare at everyone in the room as if to say: "Who did that to me?!?". These days he just gives a heavy sigh: "Oh Lord, it happened again!"
