Apple knows better than you. To be fair, Google also knows better than you. I will freely admit that they know better than I do about making scads of lucre. Oddly, however, I have found that others rarely know what I need better than I do.
I find clouds to be fine for delivering rain. I'm not in a situation where the cloud is good for delivering media. I could drive halfway across the state to buy a blu-ray movie and still make it back home in less time than it would take me to download the movie. (And I don't live in the boondocks.) I've downloaded books and music from Amazon because I don't need to use Amazon's cloud. I maintain my own archive, have instant access to everything, and the files are small enough that the initial download is only a few minutes.
