The app that you pointed out does not do what you think it does. It's a "future" feature that still doesn't do what you need. Their proposed solution is to create an annotation file that you can share with folks. Those same folks must then import the file to see your annotations. This however will require all users to use the same app.


Moon+ Reader does exactly what the app you've identified does. You can export your annotations as a file and friends can view your annotations by importing the file. You can also share your annotations directly to any app Blogger apps included. (Just in case it's not obvious) your friends will have to have the same Epub file to import your annotations file


The only case that I've seen where annotations are platform / app independent is with PDF files. The reason for that is the PDF file has that in the specs. Epub is not so evolved so Epub viewers are forced to implement their own solution.
