They should work, yes. Work perfectly? Maybe, maybe not. You can check how the Kindle/Mobi file displays on various devices by using the Kindle Previewer from Amazon instead of Kindle for PC.

Kindle Previewer can also be used to convert the ePub. You'll get a combo file that contains both old Mobi 7 and new KF8 format books for upload to Amazon.
