For me, that's hard to see at a quick glance scrolling down the page. Maybe if they made the little book icons larger, or in contrasting colors rather than just black and gray, it would be easier to see.
I had also recently noticed the popups when adding items to the wishlist. It seems unnecessary, but it doesn't bother me a lot.
For me, the biggest problem with the new design remains not being able to see information while browsing and having to click on each book, only to find out it's one I already read or previously ruled out.
