You're not crazy, heatherlynn. If you look at the text in the top paragraph, you'll see it looks a lot clearer compared to the ones below it.
From what I can see anyway, the muddiness becomes very obvious at the line beginning with the word "complicated", although the two lines above it are also starting to look a little muddy/blotchy.
