This sounds like a most excellent improvement, which I would be much obliged for.
Especially since deleting from (using calibre, rather than locally using the device, I mean) and resending a book to the Kobo (Glo in my case) doesn't always (ever?) seem to result in the expected update to the cover on the device. Unless I'm missing a setting in the driver that would currently remedy this.
