You can use Mobi2mobi to change the entries without doing a conversion. See the Sticky in the Mobi subforum.
Change exth type 501 to EBOK and 113 to an ASIN entry (you can use Amazon's own ASIN or an artificial one as Calibre does).

When Sideloading convert to AWZ3 & they will go under Ebooks! Use Calibre to delete the DOCs ones before you download the new vs. I was having the same problems. DOCs excepts MOBI but not AWZ3....
