And this thread is a good example of some of the work needed to turn a book into a viable ebook with multiple formats. Well, minus all the individual work done by the actual formatters (not a minor concern in itself).
All this even with what was basically a good source file, the authors cooperation, participation and knowledge of what it should be, and a large group of experienced ebook creators in their specialized formats. Is it any wonder there seems to be trouble with large publishers that just run the manuscripts though the formatting programs and call it good?
It's nice to see someone actually concerned about the quality of how their final product looks and is presented. Good job.
