Moved to the Kindle forum - you're much more likely to get help if you ask in the correct place!

When you say that your Kindle's screen "does not work", is it simply frozen? Does the screen look entirely normal (in which case it's probably just a flat battery) or are there any curved lines or other marks visible on the screen (in which case you've probably fractured the screen substrate)?
