Hi John,

I think that the CyBook without a case is EXTREMELY vulnerable to screen breakage - it's very thin, and easy to "twist" which is a sure-fire recipe for a broken screen.

The case gives good protection, though. Provided it's kept in the case, I don't think it's any more vulnerable than any other reader. I carry mine around all day in a briefcase with lots of heavy books, and so on, and it's not come to any harm.
