Yeah, I discovered I'd downloaded a 2K file, too.
I created a whole new folder and reuploaded, starting from the version of the file as it came from Jon. Changed the link. Same result.
I'm starting to wonder if there's something in the file.
Lemme try something. Someone else, out of the blue, emailed a LRF file he'd made, right after I'd uploaded Jon's. I'm going to try putting that one in, and see what happens...
Same thing! The file loads fine in my viewer, then I upload it to the server, change the link, and get the same result. When I Save As, I get a 2K file.
Stumped...
I tried changing the extension. No joy.
Here's what the code on my downloads page looks like:
<a href="Downloads/html/Neptune%20Crossing.htm">html</a> |
<a href="Downloads/MobiPocket/Neptune%20Crossing.prc">MobiPocket</a> |
<a href="Downloads/Palm%20eReader/Neptune%20Crossing.pdb">eReader</a> |
<a href="Downloads/RTF/Neptune%20Crossing.rtf">RTF</a> |
<a href="Downloads/PDF/Neptune%20Crossing.pdf">PDF</a> |
<a href="Downloads/PDF/Neptune%20Crossing%20-%20PDA.pdf">PDF2</a> |
<a href="Downloads/Sony/Neptune%20Crossing.lrf">LRF</a> | <br>
Anybody spot anything wrong there? I can't.
