I will not bother to post again if this is the quality of the discussion.
The post wasn't "graceless" - you highlighted an apparent design flaw and Shaggy graciously offered an addendum to your warning to indicate how to avoid it. I am sure many of us have done the same as yourself (I know I have), but now I remember to fold my cover all the way back, and hold the clip in between the front and back covers - in time, I hope that this will loosen up the leather of the clip and threfore tend to keep it sitting outside of the closed book (rather than it's "from new" desire to hammer the screen ), for when I forget to make sure.

will_wiggle, you are understandably distressed about this, but if you read shaggy's post in the positive light suggested (trying to suffix your warning with a suggestion for others), rather than a negative one, you may see that no harm or "insensitivity" was intended. Regardless, setting your mind against MobileRead on the basis that one post out of the tens of thousands is the mark of "quality" of discussion overall is an intemperate knee-jerk reaction that I don't think will serve you the way the actual overall quality of discussion here will.

That is, don't rush off. It's a good place, even amongst the disagreements and minor ructions that sometimes occur.

I hope you get with your Iliad a result satisfactory to you.

Cheers,
Marc
