Hello forum members.

I have an ePub file of about 28MB in size. Using Calibre to convert the file to PDF it was still processing after 12 hours. I split the file into two parts using Sigil. I removed some broken links, regenerated the TOC's and ran the two file parts through Calibre.

I was able to obtain the PDF outputs of the two parts with the processing taking about 3 minutes each.

In general terms does anyone know why this should happen?
