Some e-reader apps may be able to
export highlights, but not in the smart way Marvin does it (in a separate HTML file per book).
However, when it comes to
importing,
restoring,
merging and
sharing highlights (in that someone else can import your annotations into their own copy of the book) -- I believe that Marvin is absolutely unique in this regard, and the first e-reader app ever, on any platform, to allow this.
To me, Marvin's advanced annotation capabilities are its no. 1 competitive advantage.
