I totally sympathise with you. Its the same at the bookshop. Read a good author and never see them again. I will no longer buy any book series unless i can see the lot. So many times I have bought book 1 and have never seen the next two, or only find book 3.

I would have thought that nowadays in ebook format this problem would go away being so cheap to get the book online. Our tastes must be strange compared to the publishers people. Or the author didnt get past the thousand sale mark and no longer worth the effort.

I can only suggest that you get in touch with the author, offer money for electronic copy direct from them, and hope that they dont have a contract that forbids them to deal direct with you.
