Surely tor.com can give away a few eBooks without making it their
raison d'etre. They're posting short stories onsite as well (I think I'm going to have to read some more Steven Gould now), and it sounds like there will be some art to download, if that's your thing.
If they're not books you want to read, don't read them. As I said before, I suspect Tor have got the message that more eBooks are good. So more are forthcoming.
