Oh .... Ricky was sooooo lost. I had so many people giving me the worst directions ... and of course I loaned my GPS to a friend. Top that off with running out of gas on a road that has pretty much no gas stations.
So, a trip that should have taken me an hour took two and a half.
Really, sometimes I think I have no business going out of the house in a state where a road has one name at one end and another at the other .... and neither is particularly well marked.
I had a great time (especially once I was properly fed). Nothing better than a good meal and really good company. Poor Elsie won't be home until at least 10:00 (in another hour and a half or so). I went to Home Depot after (of course), and then to PetSmart (but they didn't have enough food to be worth the trip). However, the meet up was definitely worth the trip ... even the getting lost and running out of gas part.
I'm toddling off to bed really (really) early tonight so I can read. Might not make it on much tomorrow because .... alright ... everyone all together now .... I have to go to a party. (How shocking
... I know.
