Definitely agree about previously published backlist - I love to see reasonably priced backlist titles come available as ebooks.

But, I personally also like to see self-pubbed ebooks that continue a previously established/published series that I like. I guess my tastes don't always run in touch with what sells enough for a major publisher to keep publishing - I've found this especially with historical mysteries, which just don't seem to do all that well in the US. I'm willing to take a bit of a gamble (or read a sample) and be a bit less picky about typos if it means I get the next "installment" in a series that I thought was defunct...
