Did anyone see the reader on Jeopardy! last night?
It's the teen tournament, and they had a category of Cool Gadgets or something like that. It was a video clue and showed a woman with the reader saying it used this type of technology.
I said eInk and was so excited to see the reader that I kind of talked over the rest of the answer, so I don't know if I would have gotten the correct question of grayscale (I would think so), but hey, sure wasn't expecting the Reader cameo.
I've also seen it in the Hammacher Schlemmer catalog as the
Paperless Paperback. (A catalog that has a lot of things that you want but don't really need - toys for rich people and stuff).
Maybe it's finally getting well known? I've yet to have a person I've shown my reader to have any idea that it (or the Kindle) existed at all, which was me as well not that long ago. I think a lot more people would own one if they were more commonplace.
