A warm hello from Germany
Dear Calibre-Community,
I live in Germany and love books. And recently I started to overcome my fear from digital ones. Although I found that printed books smell better, I decided to embrace the many other positive elements of a portable and small ebook reader. After all it is kind of awesome to have my personal library always at hand in my inner jacket pocket... :-)
The purpose why I registered here is to learn more about this unique and cross platform suitable project called calibre and on the other hand to feel good by contributing back - honoring the nickname I chose for registering. ;-)
The contribution I was thinking of, is maybe help fixing bugs or enhance the software with desired features - in short: coding! I possess some skills in python, C and Java and would be glad about the opportunity to work with experienced developers to sharpen those.
Are such intentions welcome around here?
