desertblues - I cleaned out a lot of pbooks when we moved, but didn't get a lot of money for them. We had a lot of used book stores in my area and most just wanted to give credit instead of cash.
Once we moved down here, my son and his girlfriend hosted a garage sale for me and sold off about 400 books at 1-2 dollars apiece. I couldn't believe she asked for and got that much for all of those - mostly children's books. I am glad you are able to get cash for yours.
Right now, I am deciding what I want to eat and waiting for a fresh cup of coffee to brew. The ice still hasn't melted outside and I would really like to stay curled up at home today.
