The simplest way is to make PDF files and read them. It is also the safest, although it's pretty safe to read LRFs and EPUBs with embedded fonts as well (but may not be as simple).

All the other methods are also quite safe, but they may require a little more work to get the Cyrillic fonts installed in your unit. But then you can read pretty much any text, as long as it is in Unicode.
