Patrick Nielson Hayden, Editor-in-Chief of Tor, who is, as it turns out, a bit of a jerk - unapologetically so. Which means he would actually be my kind of guy, if it wasn't also clear that it's a cultivated image, which turns him right back into, well, kind of a jerk.

The conversation though did give me a new way to exit a conversation, with all of the grace of an ostrich attempting flight: Flounce, Flounce, and Away!
