For those that have both the Kindle Touch and Paperwhite, is the capacitive touch screen really that much of an improvement, or would it not really matter if they reverted back to the IR touch?
I allo have both. The capacitive touch is definately a noticeable improvement. The Touch sometimes does not like me tapping, and have to do it twice. Plus with the big bezel putting in bookmarks is a hassle. Also on the PW quick short swipes appear to work better too. So I would say that the new touch screen is a lot nicer and an improvement. Not commenting on if it is worth one way or other. If I had problems with my color, it might be different, but I am happy with my PW, so me personally like the capacitive touch better, others maybe not.
