I have 3 subscriptions, have never had navigation issues on my PW with any of them.

I don't think I could handle more on my PW without disrupting my other reading. The last thing I need is more reading material adding to my backlog, especially if it is of time-sensitive nature. I'd never get any other reading done. Things were a little different before the backlog grew to its current size, I thought I had time to read everything, had about 10 calibre subscriptions going, hundreds of samples, etc. No more.

So mostly I use Google Reader on my tablet for 'news' stuff. 10-20 minutes a day, much easier to manage, less guilt if I can't read much of it, because I'm not paying for any of it. And with my Audible subscription I get NYT daily digest. I work that in maybe once a week, when something in the world happens.

You aren't by any chance a vampire, are you? I've heard they can have issues with capacitative touch screens due to their colder than normal skin temperature and the extreme density of their undead flesh.
