Please come to Boston
For the springtime
I'm stayin' here with some friends
And they've got lots of room
You can sell your paintings on the sidewalk
By a cafe where I hope to be workin' soon
Please come to Boston
She said no, boy you come home to me

(And) She said, hey ramblin' boy
Why don't you settle down
Boston ain't your kind of town
There ain't no gold
And there ain't nobody like me
I'm the number one fan
Of the man from Tennessee

Good morning, everyone! I guess it was the Tennessee sippin' whiskey I had last night that put this song in my head this morning. Lovely song, horrible whiskey. A friend brought back a 'miniature' bottle of Gentlemen Jack, distilled and bottled out of the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Rainy morning and drinking Lapsang Souchong tea, extra smokey. Made some bacon and eggs for breakfast and they all seem to go well together. Certainly better than Jack Daniels and popcorn.
