There is no reader app that I know of that will read calibre's data from calibre.

As it stands now you have two options.

1. Update the tag in calibre, delete the book on your Nexus then resend the book and (I guess, since I don't use fbreader) reimport it into FBreader.

2. Use Calibre Companion (CC) App (wifi required). Every time you connect this app to calibre the metadata in the app is automatically updated to match calibre's metadata, this includes all of your custom columns. I use CC to manage all of my on device ebooks. When I want to read an ebook on my Nexus I simply launch it from CC and read it in the reader of my choice. Additionally using CC as my ebook launcher means I no longer import books into my reader program.
