MobileRead Forums - View Single Post - Calibre, FBReader, Nexus 7, and non-updating tags: where's the problem?

I have a Nexus 7, which Calibre sees as a device and sends books too just fine. But FBReader doesn't register the updated tags. Is it because FBReader can't read the metadata.db? If so, is there any reader that will? I don't want to have to update the ePub & re-send it every time I read something and want to take the "unread" tag off it.

Any help would be appreciated.
