Thanks for the pointer! I didn't realize so much work has been done in trying to supply the Sony with a dictionary --- some heroic work by a handful of very smart people

I wonder if there is a more complete English language dictionary available out there --- the implementation of the Webster's 1913 edition from PG seems to have been emasculated in interests of file size and speed. Something akin to Webster's New Twentieth Century Dictionary (320,000 entries!), maybe.

I'm aware of copyright issues and large files and speed of access, but you would think that Sony must have something cooking on the burner to compete with the Kindle in this way...

In the meantime, the dictionary hack gets loaded onto my 505, and kudos to all involved in making it a reality
