He was a great inspiration in my path as a guitar player. His hearing is just about shot... he suffered severe tendonitis in his right hand and had to completely modify his playing style to compensate for it, and yet, he is certainly one of the all-time greats! His singing was a LOT better when he was younger, but I guess that's true for most of us. The guy is just incredible!
