Hello again,

thank you all for your help - in the end, the problem was that the damaged Shelf was "halfsynced" to the User-Account.
Therefore, after every reset + login + sync, it was there again.

I was able to resolve this Problem by opening the sqlite-database with a Databaseexplorer and setting the shelf as "isdeleted" (of course only after making a full backup). Then, i synced the whole thing again, and the shelf was not appearing anymore from this point on. Also, the database was not corrupted anymore (and after a restart of the device, also the book-cover-thing was working).
