Got mine about a week ago from Officeworks, Brisbane CBD. $159, any colour you want as long as it's black. I hadn't found this forum at that stage, and it looked like stock was pretty thin on the ground, so I grabbed it.
I also got the sleep cover; marked as about $23.99 but actually was supposed to be about $45.99. They gave it to me at the $23.99 price. I don't know if they've fixed the display yet; if not, you might be able to get a little discount on the cover.
Very first impressions are good, though I see what people mean when they say that handling of PDFs is poor. I'm starting on a free ebook, "Dracula". The text appears to be scanned, and doesn't seem to be as crisp as real text. Page turning is ridiculous, and I have to centre the page after every laborious turn. I wonder if Calibre can convert it to real epub format, using OCR. I'm a total noob at this; I'm sure you can tell.
