I hope they don't settle. Not just because I think the verdict is extremely flawed, but because I would like to see this go to the higher courts where some important patent issues could potentially get sorted out. Patent regulations and practices in this country are a mess, and anything that might bring some clarity is welcome.

Moreover, they've come this far, and invested so much time and effort. It would go to waste if they settled now.
