Why not Jean Claude Van Damme (spelling?)? They could dub his voice to get rid of the accent. Maybe we should ask Dan Ackroyd. Doesn't he have the size?
As for the sequel, if you really don't want Cruise in the sequel, we could always demand they use Danny DeVito to play an elderly Reacher. 
And if cool is what is wanted, why not bring in the Fonz to star as Reacher?  |
Van Damme? He's in the same acting category as Stallone, if not worse. Reading the novels, you'd think Reacher had a brain; I'm not so sure the names you listed have half that.
