Hi everybody. I am a French writer and literary translator

, so chances are that when i'm not lurking i'll post mainly in the French sub-forum. As a (human) reader and as a translator, though, i am interested in crime / noir fiction, SF and fantasy, contemporary novels, poetry, history and biography.
Feels nice to be here, wherever that is
That's a bit short but i'm working on a book by China Miéville about apocalypse cults and the end of the world is tomorrow, so… Cheers
PS I do not currently own a reader but have been testing extensively the PRS-650, which i find very useful for translation work (at the reading stage, of course). Still, the screen feels a bit small to me and –- what was Sony thinking???

-– on the version i'm using, there are no unilingual dictionaries apart from the English one. I find this a huge drawback for regular reading -- one has to read in one's own language from time to time

, and not being able to know the meaning of a word directly from the reader's dictionary app(s) is frustrating… So I guess my next tests will be the Kobos and the Pocketbook Pro.
