Hello,

I made a mistake of loaning my precious to my better half and now it stopped working correctly. The lower left side of the screen is static, it never changes no matter what I do. Here are some pictures of the problem:

I tried reseting it, but it didn't help. I never changed firmware or anything because being from europe it's not that easy or cheap to get a replacement.

Anyone has any idea what could have caused this and how/if can it be repaired?
