Something strange happened today. I received an email from Amazon stating that they were giving me a refund of $217.77 for returning my Paperwhite. The only thing is, I did not "return" a Paperwhite, I "exchanged" mine (several times

) and still have one in my possession and on my account.
I have already received the refund as a gift card in my account.
I spent my lunch trying to straighten this mess out but so far no go. I don't have time to follow-up again until Friday.
I wonder if they decided to gift it to me because I still wasn't happy.

One can hope.
