We've also got to swap over the beds in two of our spare rooms. the Queen bed in the Contessa Suite is going downstairs into Frog Hollow, and the King bed - actually two king singles "zipped" together, with trundles underneath - from downstairs is coming upstairs where it will be used more. Last weekend we "modified" the Queen bed in the Princess Suite, by ripping its top off (it's a solid-base mattress from IKEA) and placing the good quality mattress on it from the Contessa Suite bed (going downstairs), but this means we have to buy another Queen mattress, which we will probably do Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Sunday morning we'll do the regular thing and walk down to the grower's markets for our fresh fruit and veg for the week. We'll also get some eggs and some smoked fish (I'm thinking "marlin" this week), and some pide to have "scrambled eggs on toast" (with slivers of smoked fish on top, with a few drops of Worcestershire and Tobasco sauce) out on the top balcony when we get home . We might also buy some of the good half-a-lamb packs that they sell down there.

Sometime over the weekend we'll take the dogs down to Marcus-Castaways Beach for a romp in (or next to, in Oscar's case) the shorebreak and along the beach.

We might drive down to Mount Coolum and go for a walk up it too - we've been meaning to do so since we got here.

Also, I've got to dig out a dead palm (possibly two), and look at some plantings around the side and back, probably some Blueberry Ash/[i]Eleocarpus Reticulatus, and as they're a favourite tree, and, particularly at the back of the house where some heavy tree-pruning and removal has occurred (bloody Macaranga) great for privacy. The birds love them too, for food and shelter.

Undoubtedly, intermixed with all this, there will be a ready supply of Spa-and-Zany-Carter-Deluxe-Time.

Cheers,
Marc
Not too busy, then Marc....hope you'll find time to drop in here...
Mount Coolum looks interesting and picturesque....

(not quite crazy but getting there)
