Help with setting up Content Server on Windoze 7 Pro

I've looked all over the forums, and, unless I've missed something, I can't find the help I need to set up the Content Server of Calibre to allow relatives and friends to access my library.

I'm running Calibre 64-Bit, Windoze 7 Pro, SP1 64-Bit, using Norton 360 and its firewall. I checked the handbook, but it's mostly about Linux, which I use on my old machines, but I'd like to set the server up on my desktop. I've never used Apache or any other such program; so I'm a little lost here.

I have DSL with a wireless router, but I'm hooked up LAN with the desktop I wish to use as my server. I'm using WPA encryption with a password needed to access my wireless. My ISP is Centurylink. I have 1.5/.25 speed.

I've opened the server in Calibre, read the short tutorial there, and I tried to access the server with my laptop with a web browser (Firefox,) but I keep getting an error message and no joy connecting.

If anyone has the time to help me set this up, message me here. It may be helpful to others should a tutorial be here, but should the forum moderators think it better, I have Skype, Facebook, and email or pastebin could be used to communicate. I'm not even against voice on a landline.

I thank you in advance for your consideration.
