When it comes down to it, despite the arguments that Oh, I use it to read academic pdfs, or I hate shopping but if I have to do it this is more convenient (swoon), or whatever, tablets are toys. Unlike real computers, they are fundamentally designed for entertainment and to be toys. As such, they are a waste of time. They are the new cabbage-patch doll.
