I have had this happen before, I had fixed it by prying off the back and unplugging the battery carefully. Wait 20 seconds (most people say 10secs but I count fast so I count to 20 instead) and replug it in. Try turn it on then and it should work. At least it had for me when troubleshooting another person's vox.
